SAP BTP Solution Architect
Reporting to the IT COE Enterprise Computing SAP Technology Manager, the SAP BTP Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping, governing, and evolving the SAP Business Technology Platform landscape.
The role serves as the primary technical reference for SAP BTP architecture, ensuring that platform solutions remain robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise technology standards. It contributes to the design and implementation of cloud native applications, drives the adoption of extensibility and clean core principles, and supports the continuous optimization of a hybrid SAP environment spanning both cloud and on premise systems.
Based in the Alba offices, with flexibility for remote work up to two days per week, the position is fully embedded within the SAP Technology Team and operates in a highly technical context, interacting closely with platform teams and IT stakeholders across the Group.
You will contribute to the design and implementation of SAP BTP architectures, supporting the development of secure and high performance solutions based on SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and other cloud native technologies.
An important part of the role is to maintain governance over BTP services and integrations, ensuring that coding standards, security requirements, and clean core principles are applied consistently. You will work closely with Enterprise Systems, Integration, Network, and Cybersecurity teams to help deliver coherent and future proof technical designs.
You will support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the SAP BTP platform, while contributing to SAP Technology operations in managing hybrid environments.
The role also includes providing 3rd level support, collaborating with AMS partners on complex issues, coordinating security patches, and participating in AI driven initiatives leveraging SAP BTP services.
Throughout these activities, you will engage with IT Platform colleagues and external consultants, ensuring the adoption of harmonized architectural standards and the effective delivery of strategic SAP cloud initiatives.
You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, and you bring experience in SAP Basis/Technology operations together with exposure to SAP BTP within enterprise environments.
You have worked with BTP platform components and cloud based SAP solutions, and you are comfortable contributing to architectural design activities and supporting the delivery of modern SAP extensions and integrations.
Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross functional and international contexts are essential. Your analytical mindset and problem solving attitude enable you to approach technical challenges with structure and clarity, while your curiosity and proactive approach help you adapt to evolving technologies.
