IT COE Finance Solution Test & Design
We are currently looking for an IT accounting Solution Designer and Testing (FI) who will be part of IT Finance Center of Expertise Team located in Pune, India and he/she will report to the IT COE Finance DC Asia.
- Essure the whole application lifecycle, from development and configuration to maintenance within the scope of Finance COE.
- Ensure that Finance COE applications are designed, developed and maintained in accordance with the global IT architecture and business needs.
- Ensure together with project teams (for specific projects that are been implemented) that the necessary validation is happing during UAT phase engaging the business representatives with project manager.
- Collaborate with Platform Leaders, IT Region Manager, Project Managers, Demand and Portfolio Managers and Application Architects to execute and support application projects.
- Supports the IT account manager and Region Demand Manager in the demand collection process, working with business users to collect business requirements, identifying the most appropriate IT solutions and evaluating technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with the Global IT organization to align strategies and best practices.
- Maintains constructive relationships with suppliers to allow effective and productive evaluation of vendor offerings against business requirements, constraints and priorities.
- Analyze and advise for possible impact in existing solutions and act to avoid and overcome this impacts with new projects/improvement implementation.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE REQUIRED:
- 5–10 years of SAP FICO experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and controlling concepts.
- Expertise in configuring FI submodules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO submodules (CCA, PCA, IO, COPA, PCA).
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance (if applicable).
- Good understanding of integration with SD, MM, and PP modules.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience in manufacturing industries/FMCG industries is preferable.
