Within the Ferrero Ice Cream Business, Ice Cream Factory Comaker (ICFC), one of the largest ice cream manufacturers in Europe acquired by Ferrero in 2019, is currently looking for a Operations Performance Manager who will:
• Lead the deployment, monitoring, and consolidation of TPM/WCM methodologies at the plant, ensuring continuous improvement of industrial performance through the structured application of tools, the development of internal capabilities, and the tracking of progress.
• The role will be responsible for driving improvements in the plant’s operational performance and fostering a Manufacturing Excellence culture aligned with Group standards.
• Thanks to your expertise in TPM/WCM, you will lead the deployment of key TPM tools, in particular AM/PM.
• You will develop and execute continuous improvement strategies to optimize production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
• Through regular reviews, you will ensure that TPM initiatives are sustained over time and supported by robust problem-solving methodologies.
• You will train the local teams in root cause analysis to strengthen internal capabilities.
• You will play an active role in driving cultural change by promoting Manufacturing Excellence thinking and practices across the organization.
• By engaging and inspiring employees, you will help foster a strong collaborative environment where TPM principles are understood, embraced, and applied in day-to-day operations.
• You will establish and monitor KPIs and KAIs to track progress of TPM initiatives and use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and improvements.
• You will assess and validate the maturity of the program’s implementation at plant level by conducting structured audit and assessment plans providing coaching to local teams on the TPM/WCM methodology, while using "train-the-trainer" approach to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and consistent implementation.
• Additionally, you will consolidate the findings and report in the Group-level overview, highlighting the progress of local initiatives, training sessions, audits, assessments, and related results.
• You will define relevant progress indicators, follow-up actions, and communication plans while you will ensure all related activities comply with industry regulations, as well as H&S and F&S standards, while promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
• Thanks to your master's degree in engineering or a related scientific field, along with at least 15 years of experience in diverse manufacturing roles — including solid expertise in TPM/Lean manufacturing implementation with focus on Autonomous Maintenance and line experience from previous leadership positions within FMCG Operations organizations — you will bring valuable insights to the team.
• Your background includes in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM/TPM) and Lean principles, including methodologies and tools such as standard work in Autonomous Maintenance, Professional Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Early Management and all technical pillars of such methodology.
• Supported by recognized certifications such as Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt), you will demonstrate a strong ability to apply problem-solving techniques in highly complex and ambiguous environments, characterized by cultural diversity, varying levels of organizational maturity, and a broad range of technologies and products, particularly in the context of ongoing mergers and acquisitions. In addition, you will bring a strong ability to lead and coach global cross-functional teams in complex and diverse Operations environments.
• Your international experience — including the management of senior teams across regions — demonstrates your capacity to operate effectively at a global level, a critical requirement for this role.
• You will benefit from your experience in driving cultural change (change agent), engaging multinational employees, as well as communicating and collaborating effectively with stakeholders, from shopfloor workers to C-suite level.
• You will have to travel of up to 10%.
• You bring adaptability, resilience and cultural awareness to operate successfully in diverse environments.
• Bring your expertise, leadership, and passion for transformational impact to a team where your contributions truly matter.
