Machine Operator - Night Shift
This opportunity is for a full-time Tier 1 Production Operator working on our day shift starting from 7am to 7pm. The starting rate is $23.00 per hour. There is an additional shift premium of $1.00 per hour for night shift.
- Operate machines as assigned
- Maximize output of equipment by minimizing downtime & minimize waste
- Ensure machine and floors are free from debris and product
- Identify machine problems and ensure they are resolved quickly
- Work well with maintenance in eliminating downtime
- Ensure product is produced / packaged according to company quality standards
- Ensure machine is locked out according to company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure Critical Control Points checks are completed
- Monitoring equipment on a regular basis
- Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are practiced and maintained
- Cleaning and sanitatizing areas and equipment during changeover
- Able to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
- Ability to meet/exceed goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50lbs
- Meets the physical demands of the position
- Excellent eye and hand coordination

- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous experience working with food manufacturing equipment is preferred
