Job ID:

Senningerberg, LU (On-Site)
Stage

During this internship in our Luxembourg HQ, you will join us as Open Innovation Business Analyst intern and be part of the Strategy & Innovation function.

You will explore emerging signals, connect them to real trends, and craft clear insights that guide decisions. Your work will have visible impact as you will help shape how we discover what comes next.

You will scan predefined sources to gather signals from the innovative landscape and analyze patterns, compare themes, and map signals to known innovative trends.

Moreover, you will prepare concise reports that explain how trends evolve over time and what that evolution may mean for our work. You will translate research into simple narratives, connect key findings, and share them in a way that helps colleagues discuss options and move forward with clarity.

Finally, you will run topic-specific research to support Open Innovation streams, the Business Analyst, and newer or emerging areas. You will collaborate closely with Open Innovation colleagues and, when needed, engage with the wider Strategy & Innovation team, including projects such as researching emerging ingredient processing technologies and their applications.

To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.

You will bring your educational background in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Agri-technology, Chemistry, Digital Technologies, or another physical science, and you apply scientific thinking to real questions through structured analysis.

You can plan and carry out research tasks, interpret sources with care, and communicate findings in fluent English. You use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to structure information and present it simply.

You work effectively across geographies in a multinational setting, and you collaborate with multiple colleagues while keeping your work organized. You listen, align, and contribute with thoughtful communication that supports shared outcomes.

If you are curious about innovation and want to discover how ideas turn into real impact, this internship could be a great fit for you! Join us in Luxembourg and help shape what comes next through your research and insights.
