Are you passionate about driving growth in Modern Trade and building strong customer partnerships? As our Channel Manager Modern Trade, you will play a key role in developing and executing winning channel strategies that accelerate business performance and strengthen customer relationships. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Field teams, you will transform category insights into tailored customer solutions and identify opportunities that deliver sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and customer engagement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

In this role, you will define and implement the channel strategy for assigned customers, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and commercial priorities. Together with cross-functional teams, you will create compelling selling stories, develop effective action plans, and support the creation of customer plans that maximize business opportunities.

Additionally, you will provide valuable input during customer negotiations by connecting commercial opportunities with clear negotiation strategies. A significant part of your work will focus on strengthening customer relationship management, supporting the development of Joint Business Plans (JBP), and delivering customized solutions based on customer needs, positioning, and strategy.

You will continuously monitor sales performance, sell-in and sell-out trends, and category performance to identify growth opportunities and potential risks. Leveraging your analytical mindset, you will assess retail execution, identify gaps in areas such as merchandising, shelf visibility, and promotional activations, and recommend actions that improve profitability and market performance. Collaboration will also be key, as you work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent execution of agreed activities and achievement of business targets.

We are looking for a commercially driven professional with experience in Modern Trade, Key Account ManagementTrade Marketing, or Channel Management within the FMCG industry. You have a strong understanding of customer dynamics, category management principles, and commercial strategy development.

Beyond technical expertise, you are an excellent communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels and build lasting partnerships with customers. Strong analytical skills enable you to translate complex business data into actionable recommendations, while your strategic mindset helps you identify opportunities that drive profitable growth.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate strong negotiation capabilities, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Additionally, you are proactive, results-oriented, and highly organized, with the resilience and curiosity needed to succeed in a dynamic and competitive market.
