AI Architect
Reporting to the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AI CoE) within the Global IT Data & AI organization, the AI Architect will play a key role in shaping the application architecture of Artificial Intelligence solutions across the Group.
In this position, you will act as a reference point for the design of AI applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and the Data & AI technical platform.
Working closely with delivery teams, business domains, and platform stakeholders, you will support the adoption and industrialization of AI solutions, contributing to the development of a consistent and sustainable AI ecosystem across the organization.
This role is based in our Alba offices, with flexibility for remote work up to two days per week.
You will design end-to-end application architectures for Artificial Intelligence solutions, defining components, workflows, and integration patterns to ensure alignment with enterprise systems and business processes, while supporting scalability and long-term sustainability.
Ensuring consistency across AI initiatives, you will contribute to the definition and evolution of reusable design patterns and reference architectures, promoting standardized approaches for solutions such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
You will play a key role in design review and quality assurance activities, guiding and approving solution designs and supporting delivery teams in meeting both functional and non-functional requirements, including security, privacy, resilience, and performance.
Working in close alignment with the Data & AI technical platform, you will ensure that solutions are built using defined services, tools, and standards, fostering a governed and coherent ecosystem and avoiding fragmented or ad-hoc implementations.
You will also contribute to the continuous evolution of the AI landscape by gathering emerging needs from projects and supporting the enhancement of architectural standards, platform capabilities, and shared services. You will support the evolution of the AI Ecosystem, contributing in the Ecosystem design, supporting the integration of Technology Partners AI Agentic solutions into the Ferrero AI Ecosystem.
Throughout the lifecycle of AI applications, from initial design to deployment and maintenance, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable robust, production-ready solutions while encouraging reuse, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field and have gained solid experience in Solution or AI Architecture roles within complex enterprise environments.
You bring a strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence systems, including Machine Learning, Generative AI, and agentic approaches, and are comfortable translating business needs into scalable and well-structured application architectures. Familiarity with cloud environments and data platforms allows you to design solutions that integrate effectively within broader enterprise ecosystems.
You are confident working across the lifecycle of AI solutions from a design perspective, leveraging practices such as DevOps, MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps to ensure robustness and maintainability over time. Your experience includes LLM integration patterns, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and agent orchestration frameworks, along with the ability to embed governance, security, and Responsible AI principles into solution design.
Fluent in English, you work effectively in cross-functional and international environments, engaging both technical teams and business stakeholders with clarity and credibility.
