Production Manager
The position reports to the Plant Manager and aims at granting the achievement of the quality, quantity and economic (energy, maintenance, labour,…) results of the assigned product unit, through the best use of all the production factors, the promotion of continuous improvement actions as well as through the development of his/her co-workers. He/she acts as a referring point for all the activities connected to the development, improvement/innovation of the product which falls under his/her supervision.
SAFETY
- Be responsible for the position safety operation, follow up safety requirement which is from company and government, find out and report the potential risk in plant
- Be responsible for the safety management in your own scope. Set up, implement and monitor safety management procedure in the responsible area. Follow up safety requirement from company level and government. Put safety as the first priority and daily work. Lead an example about safety practice
QUALITY
- Respect for product quality and productive process within the UGP: bears responsibility for the product quality and for the compliance with the work instructions, as defined in the Quality “Capitolati”
BUDGET
- Maintenance Budget: works in cooperation with the RdM (Referente di Manutenzione) and with the plant maintenance manager in the preparation of the UGP maintenance Budget (work list) and cooperates in the management thereof during the operative period.
- Production Budget: prepares the production budget for the UGP unit with the support of LPP (cycle, discards and efficiencies)
- Energy budget: cooperates at the preparation and management of the UGP unit energy budget together with the Utilities Manager
USE OF PRODUCTION FACTORS
- Optimization in the use of the production factors, ensures the correct use of the production factors in order to maximize the UGP unit results
MAINTENANCE
- Sets priorities in the maintenance interventions, and, with the support of the RdM and Maintenance Manager, contributes to the updating of the maintenance plans
PRODUCTION SYSTEMD DEVELOPMENT
- Improvement initiatives: bears responsibility for the promotion, quantification, authorization and implementation of new improvement initiatives, with the support of SSP
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
- Weekly Production Plan: approves the weekly production plan, ensures its implementation, and takes appropriate actions in the event of deviations.
PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
- Staff and direct co-workers planning:
- Coordinates and plans the activities of the direct co-workers
- Labour needs planning: supports the long and short term labour planning, providing all the necessary needs for the UGP unit
- Development of the UGP personnel expertise: bears the responsibility to take all needed actions in order to develop the expertise of direct co-workers so that the achieved
- Workplace security: bears responsibility, in his/her area of competence, for the prevention and managing actions pertaining Workplace security
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in production area in a multi-international enterprises
- Fluent English
- Excellent Team management skill
- Be able to travel internationally
