National Account Manager - Tesco
We are looking for a high-impact National Account Manager to lead our Seasonal portfolio with Tesco, one of our most strategic customers within Ferrero UK & Ireland.
This is a critical commercial role, responsible for delivering sustainable growth across key seasonal moments including Christmas, Easter, and other peak trading periods, ensuring we maximise both brand presence and commercial performance.
Working at pace within a dynamic and high-profile account, you will own the end-to-end customer relationship, shaping joint business plans, driving category growth, and executing best-in-class activation. This role sits at the heart of our commercial strategy and requires strong cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
You will lead the Tesco Seasonal agenda, taking full ownership of the customer relationship and commercial delivery. You will develop and execute joint business plans that deliver against both Ferrero and Tesco objectives, identifying opportunities to grow market share and unlock incremental value.
You will be responsible for building compelling customer propositions, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring flawless execution of seasonal campaigns across all channels. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will align demand planning, promotional strategy, and activation to maximise performance during critical trading windows.
A key part of the role will be analysing performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and adapting plans accordingly to deliver strong, consistent results. You will also play a leadership role within the wider commercial team, bringing insight, challenge, and strategic direction to the Seasonal category.
You will bring strong experience within FMCG or a fast-paced commercial environment, with a proven track record of managing national accounts—ideally with exposure to Tesco or a top UK retailer.
You are commercially astute, confident in negotiations, and able to translate data and insight into clear, actionable strategies. You are comfortable operating in a high-pressure environment, particularly during peak seasonal periods, and can balance short-term delivery with longer-term growth.
You build strong relationships and are confident influencing both internal and external stakeholders. You are proactive, solutions-focused, and bring a high level of ownership and accountability to everything you do.
A strong understanding of category dynamics, promotional planning, and customer strategy will be key, alongside excellent communication and presentation skills.
