Maintenance Supervisor - Biscuits

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency across our production facility. This role is integral to the successful launch and ongoing support of the UGP Biscuits line and offers an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Maintenance Supervisor position’s primary duties include supervising maintenance, supporting interventions, collaborating in the new projects’ realization. You will be responsible for defining, organizing and managing the realization of periodical revisions programs, ordinary, extraordinary and soft intervention, optimizing relative costs in order to achieve determined production results, both in qualitative and quantitative terms, respecting the given deadlines. Coordinating and organizing maintenance activities in order to ensure the plants workability (devices) and the highest level of reliability and efficiency of production lines.

Hours: This will start as a 3-shift rotation position: 1 week of days, 1 week of afternoons & 1 week of nights
• Guiding and mentoring maintenance technicians to follow safe work practices
• Supporting smart factory initiatives
• Collaborating across production, quality, and HR to keep operations flowing
• Partnering with OEMs and suppliers to source parts and troubleshooting support
• Assisting with maintenance scheduling and intervention planning
• Ensuring strict adherence to Ferrero’s maintenance policies and standards
• Support and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Breakdown Analysis (BDA) following equipment failures, ensuring effective problem resolution and sustainable countermeasures.
• Support, implement, and sustain Centerlining (TPM) standards to reduce variability, stabilize processes, and improve first-time-right performance.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve asset performance and maintenance efficiency.
• Drive Focused Improvement (FI) initiatives, collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve equipment reliability and eliminate chronic losses.
• Ensure technicians understand and apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices to reduce variation, recurring failures, and unplanned downtime.

We’re looking for someone who has:
- Support and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Breakdown Analysis (BDA) following equipment failures, ensuring effective problem resolution and sustainable countermeasures.
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- A history of tackling technical challenges with creativity and precision
- Support, implement, and sustain Centerlining (TPM) standards to reduce variability, stabilize processes, and improve first-time-right performance.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve asset performance and maintenance efficiency.
- Drive Focused Improvement (FI) initiatives, collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve equipment reliability and eliminate chronic losses.
- Ensure technicians understand and apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices to reduce variation, recurring failures, and unplanned downtime.

The base compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
