We have a current opening for a Maintenance Supervisor and are actively reviewing applications.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to supervise and direct all 3 shifts of the maintenance team to support production and respond to all requests for maintenance support. This includes the necessary tasks required to acquire, process, inventory and distribute parts and supplies as required by the maintenance department. Required to manage computerized system of machinery PM scheduling on-line with current software. Must enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies and good manufacturing practices pertaining to all facets of the business, not limited to and including food safety and health & safety.

  • Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.  Develop budgets, estimating labor, material and construction costs.
  • Management of maintenance team to address day to day equipment breakdowns
  • Maintain and stock parts and supplies with the assistance of the spare parts technician
  • Manage & evaluate all maintenance staff including evaluations, disciplinary action, attendance notices, etc
  • Assist with technical and capital expenditures
  • Source and design equipment in designated areas
  • Investigate and test vendors products
  • Assist with electronic maintenance PM scheduling
  • Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations

Education or Experience

  • High school Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Prefer 3+ years of Maintenance Supervisory experience within the Manufacturing setting

Physical

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

  • Forklift and pallet jack certifications or the ability to obtain one.

Computer Skills

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Power Point skills
  • Basic computer entry for inventory control purposes
