At Ferrero, we create globally loved brands that bring moments of joy to people of all ages. Behind these brands is a high-performing manufacturing operation where reliability, safety and efficiency are critical.

Joining our Maintenance Internship means becoming part of a technically skilled team focused on equipment performance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement. This internship offers meaningful, hands-on experience within a fast-moving manufacturing environment, where you will support preventive maintenance, equipment optimisation and reliability initiatives.

You will be treated as an integral member of the Maintenance team, contributing to real operational priorities while gaining insight into how engineering excellence underpins production performance. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you will develop practical knowledge of maintenance systems, tools and best practices within a global FMCG organisation.

As a Maintenance Intern, you will support a range of engineering and operational activities, including:

  • Assisting with Maintenance Planning and Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities to improve equipment reliability and site performance (OEE).
  • Supporting inspections, fault-finding and basic repairs across machinery and production equipment.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, safety and operational effectiveness.
  • Assisting with documentation, reporting and analysis related to maintenance performance and improvement initiatives.

This role offers practical exposure to maintenance systems, engineering problem-solving and manufacturing operations within a dynamic production environment.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, technically curious, and eager to contribute within a collaborative and safety-focused team environment.

You may be currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a degree-level qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, or a related field. Equivalent experience or alternative academic backgrounds with strong technical aptitude are also welcomed.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A strong interest in engineering and equipment reliability
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of learning

We value diverse perspectives and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.

Throughout your internship, you will receive structured support and development opportunities to help you build practical engineering skills and gain valuable insight into maintenance and manufacturing excellence within a global organisation.

Please ensure that your application includes both your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a Cover Letter. In your Cover Letter, we would love to understand what motivates you to apply for this internship and why you are interested in building your career within Finance or Marketing at Ferrero. We also welcome insight into the skills, experiences or perspectives you would bring to the team.

The selection process consists of three stages:

  1. Screening telephone interviews: March - April 2026
