About the Role:

The role is responsible for ensuring the timely processing of vendor invoices for accounts payable, guaranteeing accurate and efficient financial transactions. Key responsibilities include liaising with vendors and logistics partners, maintaining strong relationships with Finance and Procurement, and managing reporting activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and validate vendor invoices for processing; process and receipt invoices for payment; validate invoices with internal teams and procurement on rates per route and fuel levy.
  • Vendor and Logistics Coordination: Liaise with 3PL, forwarders, and freight carriers to ensure invoice accuracy and on-time payment; prepare and communicate invoice issues to vendors, highlighting and resolving all existing and unknown issues during the MBR.
  • Financial Tracking and Reporting: Track and calculate invoice accruals monthly; track and create purchase orders; develop and maintain reporting and dashboards; manage regular reporting and be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as required.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with Finance and Procurement; support the Logistics function and collaborate with the wider Supply Chain Team.
  • Compliance and Analysis: Fulfill GRC requirements by checking all vendor-provided invoices for accuracy and precision daily; flag with the Manager if any vendor invoices are delayed or inconsistent with requirements; analyze and inform the manager about savings if vendors performing the same tasks/routes have different rates.

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics or/and finance, preferably with exposure to vendor invoices and budgets
  • High orientation to detail, analytical capabilities, and result orientation
  • Strong communication, cross-teams collaboration skills, effective time management and adaptability
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different teams, with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience using PowerBI and Power Queries highly regarded
  • Experience with ERP software, SAP proficiency is a strong plus
