INTERNSHIP Finance: Accounting & Financial Reporting (Starting from September)
For our Ferrero Group HQ in Luxembourg, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Finance department - Accounting & Financial Reporting team for a 6-month internship starting from September 2026.
Thanks to your understanding of accounting processes, you will support in managing month-end closing activities in line with the Group calendar, ensuring the preparation of financial statements under IFRS and Lux GAAP. You will also coordinate with various departments such as Controlling, IT, Tax, and Group Reporting to address topics related to financial reporting.
Thanks to your attention to detail, you will monitor and reconcile data across different SAP modules (G/L, Logistics, Controlling, Asset Accounting) and provide data and analysis to support intercompany reconciliation processes. You will also maintain and update reporting dashboards, including improving recurring tools and files (templates, macros, Power Query).
You will contribute to financial reporting compliance through participation in internal control and documentation activities, and respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from internal and external stakeholders.
You will bring your Degree in Finance or Accounting demonstrating a strong educational background in relevant fields.
You have strong interpersonal, team-working, and leadership skills. You demonstrate the ability to deliver while respecting deadlines. With proactive communication abilities, you will effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and across departments.
You have a problem-solving approach and able to work with numbers confidently.
You possess a high level of financial, accounting, and controlling knowledge, as well as a solid understanding of commercial economics.
You are confident using technical tools in your daily work. You have an advanced level in Excel, including the use of formulas, Pivot Tables, and data visualization.
To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.
