Category Planning Specialist (12-months fixed-term contract)
Based in Luxembourg, you join our Industrial & Supply team as a Category Planning Specialist on a fixed‑term contract. You help shape mid‑term category plans, balancing capacity, portfolio, and product changeovers across our biscuit and bakery plants. Partnering with Planning, Controlling, Development, Regions, and Plants, you turn insights into clear actions so production plans land smoothly and your choices create real impact for colleagues and consumers. This Professional / Entry Level role invites you to learn our craft while you grow your planning voice.
You will connect demand signals and portfolio choices to feasible, quality‑focused supply plans that protect service and optimize capacity. In addition, you will support the mid‑term S&OP cycle by aligning supply scenarios, calling out risks, and proposing simple, well‑reasoned options. You will also propose production allocation across Group plants, taking into account capacity, constraints, formats, and flavours in order to shape the best industrial outcomes. Finally, you will assess capacity across existing assets, gauge the portfolio impact of innovations and rationalizations within catalogue governance, and support shortage arbitration when supply conditions change.
You bring a practical, learning mindset and the skill to make numbers meaningful so teams decide with confidence. In addition, you bring a university degree in Economics or Industrial/Management Engineering and 1–3 years of experience in production, supply chain, or planning within consumer goods. You can also use Microsoft Office (especially Excel) to analyse data, build clear scenarios, and communicate options in fluent English. Finally, you collaborate with senior leaders and plant teams with care and clarity, turning complex constraints into simple choices and measurable outcomes.
