Reward Specialist
Reporting to the Reward Region Italy Manager, you will support the definition and implementation of compensation and benefits strategies for the Italy perimeter, ensuring alignment with Group policies and delivering effective, equitable and market-competitive processes. You will bring an analytical, data-driven approach with a strong focus on operational excellence and consultative support to HR and business stakeholders. You will work closely with People Business Partners, Payroll, HRIS and Group Reward teams, contributing to both day-to-day reward operations and strategic projects within a complex, international environment.
You will manage participation in salary surveys, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in data submission, and analyse survey results to produce benchmark reports and recommendations for competitive pay positioning.
You will analyse and validate salary proposals for hires, national and international moves, ensuring consistency with company policies and internal equity, and support the job grading process using the Korn Ferry methodology in collaboration with Group Reward and People Business Partners.
You will coordinate the annual salary review process end-to-end, from budget definition to the generation of salary review letters, managing data loading and configuration in SuccessFactors and ensuring data quality throughout.
You will support the management of the annual Short Term Incentive system, from objective setting to payout calculation, and contribute to the evolution of the STI framework.
You will participate in strategic Compensation projects such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive, acquisition integrations and policy harmonisation, contributing to process optimisation and the implementation of new HR technologies for the Reward area.
You will oversee and manage the Production Bonus calculations, and the definition of the Flexible Benefits offer, closely managing the operations with the HR Admin, Payroll and HRIS team.
You will support the Expat population management, both for inbounds and outbounds in cooperation with Group Expat Unit and local Payroll team.
You bring a master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics or a related field, with a specialisation in HR Management or Compensation & Benefits as a plus. You have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits roles, preferably within structured multinational environments. You have solid knowledge of job evaluation systems such as Korn Ferry, Mercer or Willis Towers Watson, and hands-on experience managing salary review and incentive processes. You are proficient user in HR systems, with SuccessFactors experience preferred, and bring advanced Excel skills. You have a strong understanding of Italian employment, tax and social security regulations as they relate to compensation. You combine analytical rigour with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and you communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels with a consultative approach. You are detail-oriented, results-driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You bring a proactive mindset, a strong sense of ownership and discretion in handling sensitive information. You are fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken, for interaction with international teams.
