INTERNSHIP Supply Chain Junior Procurement Buyer (Starting from September)
By covering this internship, you will join the Supply Chain Procurement team at our Luxembourg HQ, supporting how Ferrero secures transportation services that keep products moving with care and precision.
You will discover the end-to-end story behind procurement decisions and how they create impact across the supply chain while working alongside with buyers on sea freight, road transport, customs and freight forwarding, and warehousing.
You will organize and maintain procurement contracts across transportation categories, ensuring key terms stay clear, current, and easy to use. You will track rate updates and handle price differences with accuracy, so the right conditions are applied, and the business can rely on consistent service and cost visibility.
Moreover, you will collaborate daily with buyers, suppliers, the service center, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to connect contract details to operational needs. You will support negotiation preparation by gathering data, comparing offers, and documenting outcomes, so discussions stay focused and decisions remain well supported.
Finally, you will assist with Purchase Order requests by creating, following up, and checking information for completeness. You will also support the Blue Yonder project, helping teams connect procurement inputs to supply chain processes and discover how cross functional work strengthens planning from start to finish.
To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.
You will bring your educational background in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with knowledge of Supply Chain and Procurement fundamentals.
You can work confidently in Excel with large datasets, and you use analysis to explain price changes, compare scenarios, and support informed procurement decisions across the supply chain.
You know how to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and check details before sharing results.
Last but not least, you are fluent in English.
