About the Role:
For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a General Procurement Buyer who will be reporting directly to the HQs General Procurement Luxembourg Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
By covering this position, you will lead and execute sourcing activities for the category according to the guidelines.
You will analyze and monitor market trends, suppliers' concentrations and possible innovation.
Identifying sourcing opportunities and evaluating potential internal requests synergies will be as well ones of your responsibilities.
Moreover, your mission will be to ensure proper alignment with internal customers (business functions) requirements and demands, and lead negotiations with the suppliers in order to bring the maximum value to the requesting function, in term of TCO (total cost of ownership), service and quality.
You will build supplier relationships that generate value for both Ferrero and the suppliers over time, and collaborate with the Group Category Leaders in executing strategic sourcing activities for categories assigned.
Maintaining supplier financial analysis and performance for assigned categories will be also managed by you.
Finally, you will help in managing and maintaining contracts for assigned categories and improving their utilization.
You will support Local Admin specialist in case of mismatches between orders and invoices and approve PO documents.
You will be led to collaborate with other Functions in the definition and implementations of policies: quality, legal, insurances, environmental, ethical.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your university background in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Science or other related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in Procurement, working in a cross cultural environment and in a matrix organization.
You are demonstrating your knowledge of indirect categories and you are mastering Procurement techniques such as negotiating skills, RFI, RFQ, budgeting, market analysis, risk management or price management.
Analytical mindset and strong reporting skills will be also essential in your daily activity.
The key to your success will be your excellent knowledge of MS Office and your fluency in English.
