About the Role:

As the Marketing Director, Tic Tac Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Tic Tac brand in the U.S. market. You’ll take ownership of the Tic Tac Innovation portfolio across both the Mints and Sugar Candy categories, driving ongoing business activities and ensuring alignment with long-term brand goals.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Area Marketing Manager to manage and optimize the current in-market innovation portfolio; lead the execution of strategic growth initiatives that support the brand’s 5-year vision, and take charge of local validation and launch planning for key Tier 1 and Tier 2 global innovations, ensuring successful market entry and performance.

You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, bringing fresh ideas to life and making a tangible impact on one of the world’s most iconic brands.

The Marketing Director Tic Tac Innovation will report to the Area Marketing Manager, Sugar Confectionary & Gum, North America. This position is hybrid and will be based out of our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide brand / market dynamics and translate into growth strategies for the everyday Mints + Sugar Candy categories
  • Partner with global organization to report insights and locally drive innovation initiatives
  • Validate and lead the launch of key Tier 1 and Tier 2 innovations in the market - supervise the commercialization with excellence from concept to development
  • Input and coordinate the assessment and develop business cases with Finance/Operations to support the launch of new formats, and proximity innovation
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans for the innovations to grow in volume & profit, and increase the long-term Tic Tac Powerbrand equity
  • Lead creative, media and PR agency management to drive communication work for the brands with media team
  • Nurture an effective working relationship with key cross-functional partners, Category Management, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations and Sales Account Teams as well as external agencies and with peers in Presidenza Globale

Who we are looking for:

•    Master’s degree required, preferably in Business, Economics or Marketing 
•    8+ years of successful experience in FMCG brand management, ideally in food 
•    High energy, drive & creative; passionate about brands and marketing
•    Highly adaptive to dynamic and changing environments
•    Feels comfortable in complex matrix organization
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels 
•    Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments
•    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to be structured and organized and detail oriented
•    Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines 
•    Experience working with consumer data; i.e. IRI, ACNielsen
•    Experience in creative development and managing creative agencies
•    Skills in packaging and design/visual identity development
•    Results-oriented and proactive to always propose new initiatives, improved ways of working and do things differently
•    Previous experience in developing product innovation 
•    Strong independence to develop and manage presentation to Top Leadership
•    Experience with P&L and Budget Management

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $162,771 - $217,028 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
