HSE Specialist - Caivano (Fixed-Term Contract)
We are currently looking for a Health Safety & Environment Specialist for our Fresystem plant in Caivano (NA).
This position is offered on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, during which you will support our Health & Safety department in monitoring Health, Safety and Environmental compliance through risk assessment updates, training activities, audits, sustainability reporting, and the maintenance of management system. As Health, Safety & Environment Specialist, you will support the continuous update of risk assessments and the HSE training plan, while ensuring that all documentation required by authorities, consultants, and external bodies is properly managed. Part of your responsibilities will be to assist in planning and delivering mandatory training and to keep track of all related deadlines. You will also help manage medical surveillance activities and oversee the followup of fitness certificates to ensure accurate coordination.
You will monitor key H&S indicators and contribute to periodic reporting, providing operational functions with guidance on applying company procedures and policies. A key aspect of your job will be supporting the practical interpretation of regulatory requirements and corporate standards. You will conduct audits and inspections, track the progress of action plans, and help maintain procedures within the ISO 45001 Management System. Additionally, you will contribute to developing and disseminating local operating instructions such as LOTOTO, MOC, and Confined Space procedures, while supporting coaching initiatives, onthejob training, and HSE communication campaigns like Safety Day. Part of your tasks will also involve supporting Lean HSE tools and activities, including Gemba Walks, RCA, OPL, Safety Maps, and PPE matrices.
From an environmental standpoint, you will support compliance with environmental permitting requirements (AUA) and stay updated on regulatory developments. You will contribute to drafting and updating procedures aligned with ISO 14001 and EMAS, assist in collecting environmental and sustainability data, monitor KPIs, and support reporting activities such as the Sustainability Report and CDP submissions. Finally, you will participate in monitoring the environmental Masterplan and collaborate on sustainabilityrelated projects.
You will bring a solid educational background, having successfully completed Engineering studies or a degree in “Professioni Sanitarie della Prevenzione”, together with minimum experience in the Environment, Health & Safety field, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment. You will approach challenges with a dynamic and proactive mindset, showing the ability to work effectively even in highpressure situations and to handle confidential or sensitive matters with professionalism. You will rely on strong interpersonal and project management skills, maintaining high standards of service and work quality, and you will use your communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate smoothly across functions.
On the technical side, you will be confident using MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Forms, and Power BI. Your fluency in Italian and English will enable you to operate effectively in an international environment and will support your potential future development in a global context
