About the Role:

We are looking for a IT PLM Program Manager to join our IT Department in Alba.
This role is dedicated to leading the IT stream of PLM 3.0, a multi-year, company-wide transformation program launched in 2025 as part of Ferrero’s Operational Excellence strategy. The initiative aims to modernize end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management processes and tools, supporting the “idea to market” journey across various domains including Food and Pack, Toys, and affiliated companies. The position is based in Alba, Italy, reporting to both the Group IT Consumer Platform Leader and the IT Europe Delivery Center Manager, with the PLM 3.0 Business Program Manager as the main point of contact. As IT Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional transformational projects, ensuring alignment between IT and business goals, and delivering results within scope, budget, and timeline.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing the IT stream of the PLM 3.0 program, coordinating multiple project streams and ensuring successful execution across all phases. This includes developing and cascading project plans, defining activities and responsibilities, and involving subject matter experts when needed. You will monitor progress, assess feasibility, and recommend corrective actions to address issues. A key part of your role will be facilitating change management to ensure a smooth transition from project to process, handing over to the RUN organization for ongoing operations. You will support procurement during supplier selection and maintain continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and vendors. Monthly consolidation of cost and performance data will be required to provide visibility against budget and plans. The PLM platform you will help develop will support capabilities such as project and portfolio management, product portfolio management, recipe and process development, packaging and toy lifecycle management, finished product specifications and BOM management, labelling and artwork, product compliance, cost management, and gadget development. Your leadership will be critical in fostering collaboration, encouraging innovation, and identifying IT risks and opportunities throughout the program lifecycle.

Who we are looking for:

You hold a university degree in Management Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, and bring at least 8 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational FMCG company. You are an excellent communicator with strong strategic and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships across all levels to ensure business continuity. You possess robust project and program management expertise, are familiar with Agile methodologies, and can handle multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational, negotiation, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated risk management skills and the ability to identify mitigation strategies are essential. A solid understanding of key business processes such as R&D, PLM orchestration, marketing briefing, and packaging development is required, along with a strong foundational IT background. Fluency in English, proficiency in MS Office and SAP ERP, and knowledge of market-leading PLM platforms are expected. A PMP or equivalent certification is a strong asset. You are self-motivated, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to combine technical leadership with people and relationship management skills to drive excellence in execution.

How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:

Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
