About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg we are currently looking for Group Privacy Counsel.
Thanks to your expertise in data protection and your ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks, you will support the Group Privacy Officer, who plays a key role in ensuring compliance with European and international privacy regulations. The role exists in line with legal requirements and brings a high level of responsibility in setting the direction for the Group’s privacy strategy.

You will contribute to the development and enforcement of policies and procedures, while supporting the implementation of training and awareness initiatives across the organization. You may also be involved in assisting with the management of privacy-related investigations and responses, under the guidance of the Group Privacy Officer.

Your role will also allow you to observe how a comprehensive privacy program is structured and maintained at group level, and how cross-functional collaboration is managed to uphold internal standards and meet regulatory expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

Thanks to your understanding of data protection regulations and organizational processes, you will contribute to developing and maintaining the Group's privacy policy and supporting its consistent implementation across local teams. You will coordinate with local privacy officers and assist in managing privacy-related complaints and investigations, including tracking and supporting the development of corrective actions when needed.

You will also be involved in risk assessments, auditing activities, and the creation of privacy awareness and training programs. Your role will include reviewing and adjusting practices in line with changing legal requirements, supporting documentation efforts, and helping foster a culture of compliance through internal communication and collaboration.

Thanks to your attention to detail and communication skills, you will contribute to reviewing privacy clauses in contracts, supporting the management of business associate agreements, and acting as a contact point for data protection authorities. You may also cooperate with departments such as HR, Security, and IT on privacy-related audits or inquiries.

Who we are looking for:

Thanks to your educational background in Law, with a specialization in Data Protection, you will bring the legal foundation required to support the implementation and oversight of privacy policies across the Group. Your experience of at least 10 years in related roles will help you approach tasks with autonomy and a well-developed understanding of data protection practices.

You will use your fluency in English to operate in a multinational context, and additional language skills may support broader collaboration. Your ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects will be key to handling cross-functional interactions and ensuring consistent application of the Group’s privacy standards.

You will also benefit from applying your results-driven mindset and capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic environment, where privacy topics require both attention to detail and the ability to support timely and structured decision-making.

How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:

Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
