Team Leader
At Ferrero, we are passionate about creating high-quality products enjoyed by millions of consumers around the world. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within your production area, ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Motivation and Environment (SQCDME).
You will lead the day-to-day activities of your area, supporting people, processes and performance to achieve operational targets while maintaining Ferrero's commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement. Acting as a key link between operators and site leadership, you will foster a positive team culture, ensure effective communication across shifts and departments, and step into the Manager role when required.
This is a permanent role working on a rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am–2pm) and/or Afternoons (2pm–10pm). Flexibility will be key to supporting changing production and operational demands.
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of your designated production area. You will lead and support operators throughout the shift, ensuring production lines achieve performance targets while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, food safety, hygiene and product quality.
You will oversee daily production activities, monitor line performance and coordinate resources to ensure delivery commitments are met on time and to specification. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you will proactively identify issues, lead problem-solving activities and ensure agreed escalation processes are followed whenever challenges arise.
A key element of the role will be supporting and developing your team. You will coordinate training activities, maintain capability and skills matrices, ensure legal and operational training compliance, and help create development opportunities that strengthen individual and team performance. You will provide coaching, feedback and support to operators while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
You will also play an active role in driving Ferrero Operational Excellence (FOX), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce losses, optimise performance and sustain operational improvements. Through effective communication, shift handovers and stakeholder engagement, you will help ensure consistency, transparency and excellence across the production environment.
You are a motivated and resilient leader with experience in a manufacturing or production environment and a strong understanding of machinery operation, health and safety standards, quality processes and operational performance measures. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are comfortable working under pressure and have a proven ability to deliver results through people.
You are a confident communicator who builds trust and positive relationships at all levels of the organisation. Your ability to engage, influence and support others allows you to create high-performing teams while maintaining a positive and inclusive working environment.
You demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively. You are confident using Microsoft Office applications and can utilise data and KPIs to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Most importantly, you share Ferrero's commitment to quality, integrity and excellence. You take ownership of your work, embrace change, encourage growth in others and are passionate about creating a safe, collaborative and high-performing workplace where people can succeed.
