As an Senior Manager - Trade Marketing for Visibility and Activations, your main focus will be to support end-to-end POSM & in-store activation from production through deployment.  You’ll support the head of Trade Marketing in implementing sales strategies and in providing the tools and means to implement the Ferrero Category strategies at the point of sale. 

  • Develop and execute visibility strategies across all relevant trade channels (traditional trade, modern trade, e-commerce) to ensure the right shelf presence, store layout, POSM (point of sale materials) and merchandising standards.
  • Plan and manage activation campaigns in-store (and possibly in-field) to stimulate shopper engagement, trial, repeat and category growth (e.g., demos, sampling, events, visibility roll-outs).
  • POSM development and deployment—from concept, vendor selection, production, logistics, to store-level installation and compliance measurement.
  • Monitor and audit store/outlet compliance of visibility standards (e.g., “perfect store” model), report gaps, recommend corrective actions, and follow through to resolution.
  • Work with trade/channel partners, store managers, field team/merchandisers to embed visibility and activation plans at local level.
  • Drive activation budget planning and control: allocate funds for visibility materials, events, field activations; track ROI and cost efficiency; measure impact of activations on sales/volume.
  • Use data (sales data, distribution metrics, visibility audits, shopper insights) to evaluate the effectiveness of visibility and activation efforts and refine plans accordingly.
  • Maintain cross-functional coordination (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance) to align on launch schedules, promotional calendars, visibility investments, and channel programmes.
  • Stay updated on shopper/consumer behavior, store trends, competitor visibility and local channel dynamics to ensure relevance and competitiveness of the visibility & activation strategy.
  • Post Graduate/ MBA as Academic degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Trade Marketing operations, visibility and activations. 
  • Strong knowledge of retail trade channels (traditional trade, modern trade, e-commerce) and outlet formats.
  • Deep understanding of merchandising, visibility standards, POSM deployment and store-level activation.
  • Solid grasp of shopper behaviour and activation tools to convert visibility into sales.
  • Proficiency in promotion mechanics, trade investment management, and visibility ROI analysis.
  • Ability to draw actionable insights from sell-out/distribution/visibility data and monitor performance metrics.
