We are currently looking for a talented person to work in a highly dynamic and international environment. You will be part of the Health & Nutrition Department team as an R&D Product Nutrition specialist.
In this role, you will provide and manage Nutritional Support to the sweet package food categories assuring integrity of scientific information. You will drive innovation and reformulation propositions aligned to scientific evidence and Public Health guidelines. You will develop nutritional guidelines for innovation and product communication in different categories and fields. You will assess scientific and nutritional robustness for product claims, define new product serving size and their best positioning. You will provide guidance to cross-functional partners on nutrition subjects and share relevant scientific findings through inductions and ad hoc trainings.
You will identify and solve products problems related to specific ingredients, nutritional composition and communication. You will create nutritional scientific dossiers for specific ingredients or nutritional components in a de-risking perspective.
You will collaborate with a set of different stakeholders, both within Ferrero environment and outside of it. You will work in cross-functional teams together with Food Law, Food Regulatory, Marketing, Institutional Affair and R&D to create a complete overview of food products. You will select and deal with external Key Opinion Leaders, Universities and Research Centers based on Company needs to build a scientific foundation for its products communication and formulation.
You will provide support to scientific publication and participate in international congresses. You will be in charge of keeping up with scientific and nutritional advances in different geographies.
We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technologies, Biology or a related field. A PhD in these areas would be a significant advantage. You should possess academic knowledge of food ingredients, nutrition and metabolism, together with the ability to work on different projects managing timings and priorities.
Previous professional experience in the food industry is a plus. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential, as the role involves working collaboratively within cross-functional and international teams.
Your ability to thrive in a dynamic and complex work environment is crucial, along with demonstrated resilience and determination to achieve set goals. Proficiency in data analysis is required to inform decision-making processes.
High fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary. Additionally, you should be proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
