About the Role:

Hazelnut is at the center of our work as quality is a fundamental value for us. In this role, we combine these components and we are looking for a Plant Quality Manager for our plant in Düzce. The position is professionally reporting to HCo Quality Manager, while managerially reporting to to Plant Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

⦁    Defining KPI and development plan for each member of the team
⦁    Measuring the quality level along all the transformation chain (suppliers, incoming, process, finish product) through sampling plans, audits, IT systems (sap qm-ipc), proper reporting, data analysis and elaboration
⦁    Collecting, updating and applying all the internal (specifications, requisiti quadro, sampling plan) and external rules (local voluntary and compulsory) regarding products, processes and links
⦁    Maintaining the quality system efficient and aligned with the group quality system (product excellence, food safety, ISO 9000 and FSSC 22000) on risk basis (HACCP plan)
⦁    Managing Duzce plant collection points (including randiman, inbound, outbound)
⦁    Maintaining all the certifications required by the group and the customers (in terms of quality system, product, ethical and religious) and editing those are required for exportation and merchandise
⦁    Maintaining relationships with all the relevant authorities (i.e health and category associations) that have an impact on quality procedures like certifications bodies, cleaning companies, pest control, etc
⦁    Interacting with Ferrero or the markets or the B2B customers to manage the complaints (perceived quality, etc…)
⦁    Implementing action plans and linked improvement projects to gain the KPI: improvement of the DQG audit score, etc…
⦁    Organizing and managing ring test to analyze methods and keep them aligned with DQG
⦁    Performing regular warehouse audits in the region following the GMP rules
⦁    Managing capex and opex systems for the Quality department; preparing and managing the budget

Who we are looking for:

⦁    Bachelor’s degree
⦁    Preferably 8 or more years of experience in a Quality role
⦁    Excellent command of SAP programs
⦁    Advanced problem solving, analytical and presentation skills
⦁    Solid communication and team management skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
⦁    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
