Maintanence Planner

The Maintenance Planner will direct the 24/7 hour Maintenance planning activities and provides operations support. This role is responsible for in house planned maintenance, preventative maintenance, contracted work and vendor service.
- Responsible for efficient planned, predictive and corrective maintenance activities
- Order and allocate parts for specific Work Orders
- Ensure equipment reliability adheres to plan and meets reliability metrics
- Data collection for calculation of maintenance schedule adherence
- Backup for Senior Maintenance Supervisor
- Provide technical & problem solving support for recurring problems
- Select necessary suppliers/contractors as necessary
- Ensure appropriate tracking & completion of all work orders
- Manage quality of all data in CMMS (accuracy, timing, etc)
- Plan for required equipment/resources to execute planned down time activities
- Manage PM Kit’s
- Ensure adherence to all standard work processes.
- Audit maintenance SAP conformance
- Responsible for compliance with all regulations. Food Safety – plant in proper sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines followed
- Responsible for MCRS® sustainability: Ensure achievement of all area / shift KPIs; ensure adherence to and continuous improvement of all area / shift MCRS® elements.
- Responsible for supporting the execution of relevant projects within assigned area / shift.
- Responsible for supporting talent management process for hourly employees. Ensure Diversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards. Proactively engage in the development and training of hourly labor and support such plans developed by plant leadership.
- Maintain understanding of processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, or opportunities to improve, plant performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- Effective Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Exposure to manufacturing/material handling experiences
- Possess or have the aptitude and ability to quickly develop an in-depth working knowledge of applicable processes, SAP, workflows and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to plan, organize and effectively manage people
- Possess or develop proficiency in planning/analysis, cost accounting and control
