Hazelnut Company Chile - Agribusiness & Overheads Controller

We are looking for an Agribusiness & Overheads Controller to support the financial planning, cost controlling and performance analysis of our agricultural operations and overhead structure. The role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring and financial reporting activities across orchards, nurseries, cleaning and drying plants, providing valuable insights to support business decisions and operational efficiency. The position acts as a key business partner for Agribusiness, Finance and regional stakeholders, contributing to cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyze production and financial data, developing reports and KPIs to monitor agricultural and overhead cost performance.
• Ensure the collection, validation and monitoring of costs related to orchards, nurseries and cleaning and drying plants, maintaining data accuracy within SAP and corporate systems.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and monthly closing activities, identifying variances and supporting corrective action plans.
• Perform standard versus actual cost analysis for raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products, ensuring accurate cost management and reporting.
• Support cyclical, monthly and annual inventory controls, monitoring inventory accuracy and financial impact.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Prepare monthly management reports for local and regional stakeholders, providing meaningful analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Agribusiness, Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement and other key functions to enhance financial performance and business results.

You hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management Control, or a related field, and have 5+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Cost Management, or similar finance roles within manufacturing, agribusiness, food production, or other complex organizations.

You bring strong analytical, financial planning, and cost controlling capabilities, combined with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix environments. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring is highly valued.

You are proactive, structured, and results-oriented, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Your ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and support decision-making across different business functions will be key to success in this role.

You have practical experience managing budgets, monitoring overhead expenses, performing cost analysis, and supporting inventory and investment controlling activities in operational environments. Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered a strong advantage.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, as the role works closely with local and regional Finance, Agribusiness, and Controlling teams.
