We have a current opening for a Financial Analyst and are actively reviewing applications.

The Financial Analyst role ensures ongoing analysis of local production performance and efficiencies. 

INDUSTRIAL COSTS/ANALYSIS
•    Ensure ongoing analysis of progress and variance of resources used in production and production efficiency;
•    Prepare the corresponding reports

MONTH END
•    Execute Month-end close procedure
•    Liase with Maintenance, Administration, and Central to meet Group close timelines (Local and Central level)
•    Execute Assessments and cycles – correcting and troubleshooting with IT and Central functions if required

PRELIMINARY BUDGET
•    Preparation of all necessary information for availability of preliminary budget;
•    Preparation of proposal for discussion and subsequent approval of preliminary budget.

BUDGET PREPARATION
•    Advanced preparation of documentation and compilation of data;
•    Support the Head of Production Unit in creating the budget proposals;
•    Participate in discussions regarding the budget with Central Operations Office.

FINAL ANALYSIS (MONTH/YEAR END)
•    Monitor variations in costs and share significant shifts with various Departments and Head of the Production Unit;
•    Suggest and initiate necessary corrective actions to realign within budget;
•    Preparation of evaluation and final results.

REPORTING
•    Preparation of internal reports and reports for other Ferrero Units;
•    Preparation of specific budget progress reports pertaining to (personnel, energy, equipment depreciation, overhead, etc.);
•    Month-end Reporting Package Preparation (Co-generation, FOX, Monthly variances)
•    Communication of Variances and Results to Production AGs, highlighting key trends to UGPs

 MONTHLY VARIANCES
•    Create database for Monthly Variances
•    Analyze and report variances ± 1000 CAD
•    Activate or support action plan to reduce variances

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or Statistics preferred
•    3+ years of experience
•    Knowledge of SAP
•    Strong knowledge of Excel
•    Knowledge of production process including phases, cycles, production models and Ferrero information systems related to production
•    Understanding of Costing
•    Experience in Inventory Control
•    Experience in a Manufacturing environment

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
