Demand Planning Manager, Korea
The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the demand planning process for over 100 SKUs across the Korea distribution network. The primary goal is to deliver accurate sales forecasts and ensure optimal stock planning, supporting Ferrero’s robust supply chain and business growth in Korea.
- Lead the end-to-end demand planning process, collaborating closely with Sales, Supply Planning, Marketing, and Finance teams
- Construct and maintain accurate sales forecasts to enable effective production and inventory management
- Drive the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment between demand and supply
- Lead and implement cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and process transformation
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet distributor demand and achieve targeted inventory days of supply
- Generate and publish regular KPI reports, analyzing sales forecast accuracy, stock coverage, obsoletes, freshness, and cost productivity
- Champion the use of global dashboards and analytics to improve demand accuracy and reporting
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and outsourced vendors, to ensure seamless operations
- Lead IT transformation projects and tools implementation to support best-in-class planning practices
- University degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Relevant experience in demand planning, with holistic understanding of all aspects of Supply Chain: Logistics, Customer Service, etc, preferrably in FMCG
- Strong knowledge of forecasting, S&OP, production, and inventory management
- Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP (ECC, APO, BW, DPS).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive continuous improvement, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic and business-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
