About the Role:

We are looking for a Credit/Account Receivable Officer to support our Benelux financial administration team. Reporting to the Credit & Account Receivable Manager you are responsible for the coordination of our account receivable flow. We are looking for skilled a Credit/Account Receivable Officer to provide financial and administrative services.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you are at the core of our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency that keeps our financial engine running smoothly.

Your daily tasks encompass a broad range of financial transactions, from carefully verifying and recording accounts receivables' data to processing incoming payments. Your commitment to upholding financial policies and group procedures is key as you navigate the complexities of accounts receivables to safeguard our revenue.

Moving beyond routine transactions, you take charge of preparing bills, invoices (addressing EDI invoicing issues), and managing crucial bank deposits. Your focus isn't just on the technicalities; you actively facilitate the payment of invoices by sending thoughtful reminders and maintaining regular communication with our valued clients.

To drive our financial success, you conduct detailed analyses and generate insightful reports. It's not just about the numbers; it's about implementing a robust action plan that monitors credit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensures the financial health of our endeavors.

Who we are looking for:

As the ideal candidate for this role, you bring a solid background of at least 3 years as an A/R Officer or in a similar capacity. 

Language proficiency is a key strength, and you seamlessly navigate between Dutch, French, and English. This multilingual capability not only enhances your communication skills but also broadens your scope in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Your work is characterized by an accuracy and attention to detail. Coupled with your critical thinking abilities, you excel in maintaining records. It's not just about the numbers; it's about the precision you bring to every aspect of your role.

Proficient in the operation of Excel and SAP, you demonstrate a technical knowledge on both platforms. Your hands-on approach and proactive problem-solving attitude set you apart, ensuring that technical challenges are met with practical solutions.

In addition to your technical skills, your expertise extends to credit collection. You possess a deep understanding of collection challenges and the nuances of accounting in this context. This understanding positions you as a valuable asset in managing our accounts receivables effectively.
