We have a current opening for a Associate Brand Manager, Seasonal and Assortment and are actively reviewing applications.

We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager for our seasonal mainstream chocolate portfolio which includes Butterfinger, Crunch, Baby Ruth, Raisinets and 100 Grand brands. The Associate Brand Manager will be instrumental for driving portfolio performance in the marketplace to ensure delivery against plan and responsible for monitoring and informing leadership about the business performances.  As the Associate Brand Manager, Seasonal & Assorted, you will work on both the seasonal business and the everyday assorted business (multi-brand mixes). The ideal candidate will possess good experience with CPG data analysis and forecasts, defined project management & presentation skills as well as good knowledge of the retail trade structure as know-how of each class of trade will enable a more complete understanding of the business.

This position is hybrid, and will be based in our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ.

  • PROJECT CHAMPION
    • Manage & support the commercialization of seasonal collections from brief to execution.
    • Work with cross-functional team and agencies to develop and approve new packs, renders, displays & mockups across the different seasons, with trade marketing, legal, finance, etc.
    • Partner with the trade marketing team to bring portfolio to life at all retailers, including but not limited to developing retailer sell in stories & manage sales samples process.
    • Guide creative agencies to help execute go-to-market commercial plans.
  • BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND EVERYDAY REPORTING
    • Deliver Category, Competitive, Brand, Channel, and Customer reports for all 4 Big Seasons (Halloween, Holidays, Valentine's Day, and Easter) & Everyday Assortments
    • Maintain a pulse on the competitive environment to assess the impact on the business
    • Manage operational business responsibilities for Seasonal & Assorted portfolios including but not limited to packaging & mock-ups development process, forecasting, budget management, share analysis/projections, pulling/analyzing retailer performance, deep dives to gain insights to drive growth and competitiveness.
    • Organize and manage key team meetings.
    • Deliver shipment reporting to the Team with high level insights/implications.
    • Product quality tracking and troubleshooting.
    • Manage the brand distinctive assets archive and track their usage on communication touch points (e-commerce, shopper and consumer promo activities)
    • Maintain seasonal & assorted budget tracking including PO/PR generation & maintenance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, product marketing, portfolio management or related fields (finance, sales); MBA a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
  • Solid experience with Nielsen or IRI Database and creating business reports is a must.
    • Abilit to synthesize date from analytics to insight and deliver via strong storytelling.
  • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines.
  • Demonstrate high performance in project leadership
  • Collaborative team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments; strong internal network is a plus.
  • Digitally Oriented with advanced skill set in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Power BI, or other dashboard analytical tool
  • Passion for consumer understanding and brand performances, energy, detail oriented and ambition to work with world-class brands
  • Natural go-getter that loves getting things done
  • Problem-Solving mindset and willingness to challenge the established norms
  • Motivation to advance in a merit-based, multinational organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $117,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
