Accounts Payable Specialist ( Temporary)
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist (Maternity cover – 14 months) to join our team in Istanbul, reporting directly to the Transaction Operation Manager.
This role is key to ensuring the timely and accurate payments for goods and services. The position involves providing administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, as well as monitoring expenses. In addition, the role actively contributes to month-end processes, including the preparation, review, and approval of accruals, and supports both internal and external audit requirements.

• Monitor and manage the e-invoice system daily
• Process invoices and insurance policies, ensuring accuracy of PO and GR entries
• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues
• Record monthly accruals and personnel expenses
• Perform vendor reconciliations
• Review and reconcile AP aging monthly, track payment deadlines, and resolve outstanding items
• Support month-end closing activities
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline processes
• Bachelor’s degree
• Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly for data entry, analysis, and reporting
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Turkish
