Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing internal and external financial reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as preparing sales reports for internal and Group requirements. The role supports trade and promotional investment analysis across products and customers, contributes to month-end closing activities, and ensures accurate reporting of trade programs and accruals. It also involves supporting budget and forecast preparation, managing documentation workflows, and contributing to audit processes in line with company standards.

In Financial Planning and Forecasting, you will support the financial planning cycle, contributing to the preparation of the annual budget in line with company objectives and guidelines. You will collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to consolidate inputs and ensure that financial plans are accurate and aligned with business priorities, while continuously updating forecasts based on performance and highlighting risks and opportunities.

Within Financial Reporting and Analysis, you will manage monthly reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial data. You will analyze performance across brands, SKUs, customers, and business lines, evaluating results against budget and identifying key drivers. You will also oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring adherence to timelines and high standards of data accuracy and consistency.

Under Profitability and Investment Analysis, you will support business decision-making through detailed financial evaluations, including analysis of new products, customer initiatives, and channel performance. You will assess the return on investment of trade and promotional activities to ensure effective allocation of resources and alignment with profitability objectives.

In Financial Accounting and Control, you will support trade program accruals, prepare adjusting entries, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. You will contribute to cost-center analysis and allocation, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting across the organization.

Through Audit and Compliance, you will support the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring financial processes are aligned with local regulations and Group standards while contributing to the successful completion of audit activities.

Finally, in Controlling and Performance Monitoring, you will analyze trade programs and customer/channel performance, with a focus on top-line and gross margin evolution. You will identify variances, provide clear explanations, and deliver actionable insights to support management decision-making and drive business performance.

3–5 years’ experience in Financial Controlling, with strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within FMCG.

A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to manage data, evaluate performance, and support business decision-making. Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial performance analysis, with proficiency in SAP and Excel.

A collaborative and detail-oriented profile, with the ability to work across teams and manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
