What to expect:

• You are enthusiastic about developing international procurement strategies and handling challenging tasks in Global Supplier Management. You analyze the respective markets and are responsible for the selection, evaluation and optimization of supplier portfolios in technical environments.
• With your expertise and diligence, you collaborate in international projects by evaluating tenders, conduct contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships.
• Thanks to your strong communication skills, you will be involved in the decision-making process and in conducting negotiations and drafting contracts. In addition, you will initiate cost improvement projects and implement them independently.

Who we are looking for:

• Successfully completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering or economics
• Negotiation skills and experience in contract management
• Experience in the field of strategic procurement projects and/or category management, preferably in an international company/matrix organization
• Ariba knowledge advantageous, confident handling of MS-Office
• Strong assertiveness, negotiation and communication skills
• Strategic thinking and global mindset
• Intercultural skills
• Result-oriented and self-motivated action
• Flexibility for business trips
• Business fluent in English; German and Italian language skills an advantage
