Senior Demand Chain Manager
The purpose of this position is to support the management of the toys flow from and to the packaging facility (Invalvatore) and supervise its activity.
Planning & Performance Reporting
• Oversee the execution of our partner's planning activities, including production scheduling, material requirements, and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with partner planning teams to develop and manage production schedules which align with supply capabilities and demand forecasts.
• Maintain close collaboration with the Central Planning and Plant Planning teams to guarantee OTIF
• Set appropriate inventory targets and monitor stock level, develop and execute recommendations in minimizing stock out and high stock coverage issues
• Develop and implement the allocation volume between China and Vietnam invalvator, leveraging regional strengths to enhance overall supply chain performance.
• In charge of critical cases and develop appropriate solution
• Contribute to the Planning & Logistic Pillar by sharing the best practice among different production Areas.
Production Management
• Continuously work to optimize production processes and reducing cycle through lean manufacturing to enhance product competitiveness.
• Regularly monitor the performance of equipment and processes using the OEE metric, which considers availability, performance, and quality. Support partner to Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues affecting OEE.
• Verify the accuracy of the Bill of Materials to ensure that all necessary components and quantities are specified as quality guideline, and review regularly.
• Communicate with central quality/marketing/BU/central planning to define the packing principle and variability guideline.
• Ensure that the production and financial data for each month are closed in a timely and accurate manner to facilitate reporting and financial analysis.
• Risk management: Identifying and assessing potential risks in operation process, developing contingency strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
Supply Chain Management
• Overseeing and coordinate the logistics and transportation of raw materials and finish goods to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery
• Implementing effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Arrange the stock taking to ensure the stock accuracy.
• Monitor system accuracy both for inbound and outbound.
• Monitor the inventory adjustment and write off process.
Project Management
- Led cross-functional projects in collaboration with other functions to ensure master plan completed on time.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement to drive innovation and enhance production processes and SC process to reduce costs without compromising quality or delivery times.
- Organize the training to partner production/management team.
- Support Head of operation Far East to make business scenario and strategy analysis for invalvator area.
• University degree for Engineering/Statistical studies
• 10+ years of relevant experience required in an Industrial manufacturer of housewares, cosmetics, electronic goods or managing OEM manufacturing operations
• Have Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including an understanding of production processes, quality control standards, and supply chain management, cost analysis.
• Demonstrable experience in overseeing the production of OEM products, including the ability to coordinate with Toll manufacturers and manage their expectations and requirements
• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities of big data
• Excellent communication skill is essential, Maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners。
• Have a leadership skill to manage and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Advanced level of English and fluency in Mandarin, with additional language skills being a plus.
• Autonomous in travelling
