Junior Toys Development Manager
For our Global Headquarters, we are looking for a Junior Toys Development Manager to contribute to the development of surprises for Kinder Surprise® and Kinder Joy®, two of Ferrero’s most iconic and globally recognized products.
Thanks to your motivation and interest in toy development, you will feel comfortable supporting day-to-day activities within a global team and contributing to the creation of engaging Kinder Surprise® and Kinder Joy® experiences. You will work closely with your manager to translate strategic brand directions into toy collections, brief agencies on new concepts, and collaborate with technical teams throughout the development phase. You will manage PLM tasks, maintain accurate documentation, review production samples, and participate in assortment creation while keeping volume, cost, legal, and cultural considerations in mind.
You will bring curiosity for both physical and digital play to help develop marketing materials, support the creation and shipment of internal display tools, and brief partners on new focus groups with kids. You will follow up on phygital initiatives, working with digital and licensing teams to ensure alignment across markets and internal stakeholders.
You will also collaborate on workshops with design institutes to explore new ideas, contribute to budget monitoring and PR requests, and support activities with the Research Department. You will be open to occasional business trips to the technical development department in Alba (Italy) as part of your involvement in global initiatives that help shape future Kinder toy experiences.
Thanks to your 1 to 2 years of experience in project management or product development, you are comfortable coordinating several initiatives at once and collaborating with a variety of teams. Your proactive way of working, attention to detail, and focus on quality allow you to follow projects with structure and consistency, while your curiosity and willingness to learn help you progress quickly. You bring a creative mindset and an ability to solve problems with practicality and openness. Experience in a toy marketing environment would be appreciated.
You will rely on solid IT skills, including good knowledge of MS Office—especially PowerPoint—and an advanced command of Excel to prepare analyses and presentations. Familiarity with Photoshop or SAP Architecture would be considered an advantage and will help you navigate visual tasks or internal systems more easily.
You will work in an international context, where fluency in English is essential for day-to-day communication. Any additional language skills would be welcomed. An interest in toys, entertainment, or the videogame industry would further support your integration into the category and enhance your contribution across projects.
