We have a current opening for a Maintenance Manager and are actively reviewing applications.

Step into a leadership role where your expertise in maintenance and team development will directly impact production excellence! As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance and reliability within the production environment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance. This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities, supervises maintenance personnel, and collaborates cross-functionally to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Maintenance Manager ensures that all maintenance operations align with company standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental and health & safety protocols. The role also supports capital investment projects and contributes to strategic planning and resource management.

Maintenance Management

• Ensure equipment is in top working order to guarantee the production schedule is carried out within the established timelines, efficiency parameters, and quality standards;

• Ensure the programming of maintenance interventions in the production areas, PM’s;

• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders in order to construct templates and lay out reference points for workers;

• Compile maintenance records, stores inventory, spare parts management, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results;

• Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using mobile systems.

• Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events;

• Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources;

• Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials and outside contractors;

• Reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems;

• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems;

• Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts;

• Meet with vendors and suppliers in order to discuss products used in repair work in conjunction with Purchasing Department.

• Responsible management of preventative maintenance program

• Short Interval Meeting attendance upon request of the maintenance manager

Supervise & Coordinate Work Activities

• Coordinate the activities of the Shift Supervisor and ensure that the operating programs are carried out;

• Determine schedules, sequences, and coordinate assignments for work activities, based on priority, equipment and skill of personnel to accomplish tasks;

• Strive for continuous improvement by LEAN manufacturing tools and techniques accord to the Ferrero Operational Excellence program.

• Collaborate with management, engineering, quality assurance, purchasing and other departments, in order to coordinate work activities, resolve issues, and identify and review needs;

• Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques; operational procedures; and equipment use;

• Develop implement, and evaluate maintenance policies and procedures;

• Communicate with Managers, and Peers to share relevant information, support decision-making, and ensuring alignment across teams;

• Work in conjunction with the maintenance Performance Analyst and planner for budget activities

• Work with reliability team for technical problem solving/solutions

Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material

• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the root cause of errors or other problems or defects;

• Examine objects, systems, or facilities; and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs

Leadership and Team Development

• Provide guidance and direction to employees, including setting performance standards;

• Coach and mentor employees about work-related issues.

• Provide performance feedback and bi-annual reviews

Health & Safety/Environmental Compliance

• Ensure that all interventions are carried out with the necessary measures to ensure conditions of work which meet individual and environmental Health & Safety compliance;

• Ensure the availability of protective measures, information and training for personnel;

• Guarantee compliance with hygienic food safety standards;

• Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment are compliant and detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rules;

• Coordinate with H&S to investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare reports of findings;

• Ensure practices relating to environmental compliance are followed;

• Coordinate proper recycling and disposal of scrap (metals and machinery);

• Work in collaboration with the Utilities and Health & Safety departments to ensure proper disposal of waste and chemicals, in compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to air and water emissions.

• Coordinate with H&S and Utilities to ensure reports are filed and applications are registered respects to emissions issues.

• Assist in the implementation of and conformance to the Environmental Management System within key process areas.

Planning

• Support leadership-driven capital initiatives, including facility expansions, production line modifications, and new equipment installations;

• Knowledge of Ferrero product technology, process and food sector;

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance;

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

• Ability to monitor performance and implement improvements

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - 110,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
