FSQ PMO Area International&APAC-MEA
For our Ferrero Luxembourg HQ we are seeking a highly committed and dedicated professional to join our Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) team as the Area FSQ Project Manager Officer. This pivotal role supports the Area FSQ Managers International & APAC-MEA in driving Food Safety and Quality excellence across the entire value chain — encompassing Industrial, Supply Chain, Commercial, Raw Materials, Packaging, and Third-Party Operations.
The position combines two key clusters of responsibility. First, the strategic and analytical management of CAPEX projects: overseeing substantial area budgets, ensuring alignment with long-term FSQ goals, and demonstrating the flexibility and vision required to adapt to evolving business needs.
Second, the coordination and preparation of high-level reports and presentations, often for senior leadership and executive audiences. This requires strong autonomy, an ability to synthesize complex data, and a talent for connecting teams and information across multiple functions to deliver cohesive, insight-driven outputs.
The successful candidate will maintain close and regular communication with Regional and Local FSQ Teams (RFSQM, PFSQM, etc.), the FSQ Office, and the Quality Systems team to ensure seamless operations, alignment, and consistently high standards of quality.
In this role, you will help the Area FSQ Managers coordinating and management tasks, such as performance reports etc., within the system.
You will act as the main referent and focal point for coordinating the FSQ CAPEX process and project monitoring, aligning reporting systems where needed. Specifically, you will actively support and facilitate the FSQ CAPEX process, ensuring thorough checks and preparations for TTI presentations. Moreover, you will consolidate and manage data for CAPEX planning and OPEX, including alignment with industrial sites and regions through direct communication with PFSQMs and RFSQMs, and managing Power APP.
You will be responsible of consolidating business data and of the preparation of key governance meetings (e.g., Area Board, CEO Reviews, TTI etc.), acting as coordinator for the Area FSQ Manager.
Additionally, you will prepare business presentations, including performance analysis etc., and best practice sharing. You will prepare governance meetings as required (e.g. Area Board, Monthly Letters, Operations Board, Brand Quality Review), acting as coordinator and focal point to the Area FSQ Manager.
Furthermore, you will ensure homogenization of reporting activities between different regions and plants, providing feedback and ensuring continuous improvement. Additionally, you will prepare monthly comments on business results and trends. – focal point
You will act as the focal point and main referent for registering and maintaining systems.
You will be responsible for coordinating the FSQ Area International and APAC-MEA Project Management Tool together with the region leads.
You will be the FSQ Area International and APAC-MEA lead to create and manage the annual Strategic Plan presentation in alignment with FSQ Group PMO.
You will bring your university degree background in Food Science or other related fields and more than 8 years of experience in leadership roles in Food Quality within a multinational environment. You have sound knowledge of food safety, food technology, food chemical and microbiological analysis.
You have experience in packaging analysis, principles of statistical sampling and control in the food industry, Pest Control, ISO Certification Schemes (ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, ISO 19000, etc.), Private Certification Schemes, and Food legislation (GMP, HACCP, etc.).
As an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will confidently build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and are comfortable interacting across different hierarchical levels. You will work on preparing high-level presentations and analyses, often under tight deadlines, responding quickly and accurately to strategic requests. You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to dig into numbers — reviewing, interpreting, and presenting complex data with precision. You are highly numbers-oriented, with a visionary capability to manage and oversee a massive area budget, balancing analytical rigor with strategic foresight.
You demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and strong organizational skills, knowing how to balance priorities and expectations when working with two managers and multiple cross-functional teams. You thrive in high-challenge environments, showing adaptability and readiness to act promptly when new requests or priorities arise. You are highly autonomous yet collaborative, capable of navigating ambiguity and managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.
You are fluent in English and at least another European language (e.g., French, German, Italian) and you have an excellent MS Office knowledge.
If you are interested in working in a dynamic environment with high exposure, strategic challenges, and continuous interaction, then this might be the right role for you! Don’t miss the chance to apply!
