Deployment Manager
We have a current opening for an Deployment Manager and are actively reviewing applications.
The Deployment Manager’s main objective is to lead a team in optimizing the management of the distribution of finished goods to maximize case fill on customer orders and satisfying co-packing requirements while minimizing transportation and warehousing costs. This position will be located in our Parsippany, N.J. office and report to the Deployment Planning Director, USA.
• Provides daily leadership to drive the team through a strategy that supports meeting on time and in full goals (OTIF)
• Developing and coaching a team of Deployment Planners
• Analyzing data to identify process gaps, and lead the initiative for improvement
• Managing finished goods distribution across five warehouses to maximize case fill & order fill rate for customer orders
• Providing Customer Logistics Team members with directions:
o Alerts on product supply issues so customers can be updated
o Product availability and customer prioritization when inventories are low on specific items
o Seasonal shipping times when production windows need to support Customer order requirements
o Help to achieve monthly shipping target
• Supports root cause identification and analysis for cuts
• Facilitates weekly cuts meeting with cross-functional teams within Supply Chain Planning
• Helps to improve KPI of Freshness based on correct replenishment of the network by looking at sales trends and using information from Demand & Supply Planner & Sales Department
• Supports the minimization of product destruction and leftover in the network
• Manages bulk transfers to co-packing locations
• Providing updates to the Supply Planning team to support communications to Sales and Marketing on execution against strategic customer programs
• Utilizes key metrics to measure and improve performance with regards to freight to warehouse and freight to customer saturation, DC to DC movements, and direct plant shipments
• Actively contributes to Supply Chain growth projects (e.g user acceptance testing for enhancements, business integrations, process evolution) to ensure smooth implementation or transition
• Identifies continuous improvement areas and facilitated the resolution with the broader team
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in business or related field of study with a minimum of
• 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain department
• Ability to positively influence a team and drive them through your strategic vision
• Excellent communication skills to concisely and effectively provide explanations and direct to Supply Chain team members
• Result driven, self-motivated and independent
• Able to work in a team environment & manage conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize requests and communicate response expectations.
• Replenishment, Demand or Supply Planning experience preferred
• Experience in food/drug consumer products industry (preferred)
• Working knowledge of SAP, forecasting, and scheduling (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and with others in a customer focused environment
• Understands consumer product manufacturing, inventory control, and distribution functions
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

The base salary range for this position is $81,000 - $108,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
