Join us as a Quality Specialist Assortment Manager and play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality and safety of the products millions relish every day.
In this key position, you’ll lead the implementation of our Food Safety and Quality standards across the plant, ensuring every product meets the high expectations defined by the Group. From strengthening production processes to empowering teams through training, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining excellence on the factory floor.
If you’re driven by precision, continuous improvement, and making a real impact, this is your opportunity to shape quality from the inside out.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of product quality across the full manufacturing process — from raw materials to finished goods. You’ll oversee key checks, sampling and audits, monitor trends and shelf life performance, and ensure teams have the right tools, training and support to work to GMP and Food Safety standards. You’ll also lead hygiene related activities, including cleaning validation and the site’s Environmental Monitoring Programme.

You will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening the site’s Food Safety and Quality Systems, ensuring compliance with Group policies and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP and relevant regulatory schemes. You’ll support on site audits, manage line control documentation and routinely verify that critical controls are being followed.

You will take charge when issues arise, acting swiftly and decisively to protect product quality and business continuity. You’ll block non compliant materials or processes, manage derogations, activate escalation procedures and ensure deadlines are met. You’ll support the execution of CAPAs and guide others in handling crisis situations with confidence and control.

You will oversee the full complaints process through the Ferrero Care System. This includes analysing samples, investigating root causes, providing feedback and identifying trends. You will also recommend and drive mitigation actions to reduce future complaints and continuously improve product experience.

You will lead, develop and motivate SQPs, building strong, capable teams who work consistently in line with Ferrero values. You’ll coach, evaluate and support their growth, ensuring they have clear direction, the right development opportunities and a collaborative environment to thrive.

You will contribute to site projects, continuous improvement initiatives and UK&I programs, supporting the execution of activities and ensuring they meet regulatory and Group standards. You’ll track progress, provide insights and help ensure delivery is on time, compliant and aligned with business priorities.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring experience in food quality within a multinational or FMCG environment, ideally supported by a degree in Food Quality or a related field.

You’ll have strong knowledge of Food Safety, Food Technology, chemical and microbiological analysis, packaging evaluation and statistical sampling.

A solid understanding of GMP, HACCP, food legislation and certification schemes such as ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 is key, along with a sharp eye for detail, strong problem solving skills and a drive for results.

Qualifications such as Internal Auditor certification or FSSC 22000 (standard interpretation or Lead Auditor) are also beneficial but not required — what matters most is your expertise, curiosity and commitment to high quality standards.
