The position reports to the UGP Manager and supports the execution of the production plan. Is responsible for staffing, discipline, compliance with standards, etc. coordinating the line team(s) in operational activities and ensuring the presence of production factors on the shift.

  • Is responsible for the daily activities for the optimization of the production factors (material, methods, labor force and machineries) providing all necessary information to Line responsible and UGP Manager with the usage / handling of the single shift.
  • Is responsible within the shift for all production phases of their areas of competence with-in the assigned UGP. (Preparation, Molding, Enrobing, Packaging)
  • Oversees the inventory inside their area of responsibility.
  • Is responsible for the presence of packaging/raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods for the successive shifts through the coordination with the person in charge of the production line.
  • Leads and coordinates all resources with-in assigned UGP Team.
  • Applies all defined criteria for the resources management on the lines (changes, break substitutions…)
  • Grants vacation to line resources in accordance with the planning agreed with the UGP Mgr. following the compliance of the different escalation level, and personal conflicts between line resources.
  • Participates in disciplinary meetings and is consulted by the UGP Mgr. and HR for disciplinary measures.
  • Is overall responsible for the line personnel in assigned UGP and defines the related criteria; is responsible for the planning of direct and in-direct co-workers.
  • Apply all necessary measures to avoid incidents in the workplace.
  • 4-7yrs of experience
  • Knowledge of production lines and machinery (production performance indicators, technological processes)
  • Knowledge of stock management and production models
  • Knowledge of planning techniques
  • Knowledge and application of production performance analysis methods
  • Knowledge and application of Ferrero Safety, Quality and Sanitation policies and procedures
  • Knowledge and application of production KPI’s
