Institutional Affairs and Corporate Communication
Job ID:
74255
Bucharest, B, RO (Hybrid)
Permanent

You are invited to step into a pivotal role, Institutional Affairs & Corporate Communication Manager, where you will shape Ferrero’s institutional presence, corporate reputation and media relations across the HU–RO–BG Cluster, with Romania at the heart of your impact and as your base location.

In this strategic role, you will translate the Group’s global approach to public affairs and corporate communication into a coordinated regional framework, ensuring our voice is recognized, trusted, and aligned with the Company’s long‑term objectives.

As part of the team, you will serve as Ferrero’s ambassador in sensitive institutional environments, guiding the dialogue with authorities, associations, media, and community partners. You will mention, throughout this journey, how each interaction reinforces Ferrero’s values and supports the strategic continuity of our corporate image. Your work will extend across public affairs, communication strategy, CSR, and crisis management — all carried out with consistency, diplomacy, and sound judgement.

In this role, you will build and nurture high‑level relationships with public officials, industry bodies, NGOs, and diplomatic organizations, ensuring that Ferrero’s perspective is understood and respected. You will shape a unified communication approach across the Cluster, protect Ferrero’s reputation, and anticipate regulatory developments that could influence the business. As you oversee media relations, both traditional and digital, you will mention the importance of clarity, alignment, and credibility in every message delivered.

You will also guide Ferrero’s community involvement, leading charitable initiatives, partnerships, and sponsorship programs that reflect our values and societal commitments. Managing the crisis policy process at Cluster level will require precision, readiness, and adherence to Group guidelines. Across all activities, you will hold the highest standards of transparency and compliance, reinforcing Ferrero’s reputation as a responsible and engaged corporate citizen.

For this role, you should bring a solid professional foundation shaped by more than ten years of experience in public policy, institutional relations, government affairs, or corporate communication — ideally gained within corporate environments, associations, or public institutions, and preferably within the food or FMCG sector. Your academic background at master’s level in public policy, political science, international relations, economics, communication, media studies, or a related field has prepared you to operate confidently in complex institutional settings.

You have developed a strong command of public affairs across multiple markets, managing advocacy initiatives not only locally but also in diplomatic contexts such as embassies or multilateral institutions. Along the way, you have built a credible media network and understand how to manage narratives with strategic foresight. Also, you have developed expertise in taking part to industry federations, associations, and regional bodies activities. What distinguishes you is your sound judgment, creative problem‑solving, and ability to balance autonomy with effective collaboration in multicultural environments. You navigate complexity with structure, proactivity, and a results‑oriented mindset, translating global guidelines into coherent local communication across traditional and digital channels. Experience leading or supporting regional or European initiatives is an additional asset that reflects your ability to operate across borders and cultures.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Romanian are required (Hungarian and/or Bulgarian is a plus).
