We have a current opening for a Trade Marketing Manager, FMC and are actively reviewing applications.

The Trade Marketing Manager, FMC (Ferrero Mainstream Chocolate) will be responsible to develop and execute portfolio DSMP strategies and initiatives designed to accelerate Mainstream growth during key timeframes supporting everyday portfolio and key tentpoles. The successful candidate will own DSMP KPI attainment for assigned segment and support key cross-functional internal relationships, including Marketing, Sales Account Teams, Category Management, Sales Operations, and RGM.

This position is hybrid, based in our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ and reports to the Sr. Trade Marketing Manager for FMC & Kinder.

  • Ensures attainment of Front End and Aisle Mainstream brand KPI targets including KPI tracking and action plans
  • Develops sales tool kits (e.g. selling stories) in support of launches or initiatives
  • Long-lead innovation launch planning (6 months to 5 years) acting as key commercial adviser to brand teams through the planning process of brand extensions and new launches
  • Lead Go To Market strategy and deployment to sales, based on Marketing priorities focused on key seasonal and brand activation (tentpoles) windows ensuring balance and appropriate focus among brands
  • Work in lockstep with Sales Teams to identify key gaps and opportunities at a channel/customer/brand level & work back with Brand/RGM/Category & Project Managers to develop a plan
  • Partner with the Project Management Team from start to finish on all Mainstream Chocolate projects, acting as key resource to provide commercial POV and help obtain critical info, approvals, follow-ups needed to keep the project moving along
  • Tracks promo effectiveness at strategic customers. Identifies opportunities to improve ROI
  • Provides input into demand planning process to ensure customer trends are accurately reflected in forecasts
  • Partner with Revenue Growth Management, Marketing and Category Management to develop appropriate range by channel to maximize sales and profitability for each occasion
  • Provide feedback to Category Management regarding insight requirements leading to expanded range or enhanced merchandising support at key seasonal timeframes.
  • Partners with Category, Brand Marketing, & Other Cross Functional teams to ensure best in class state of readiness is achieved for all innovation launches
  • Min. 5 years’ experience, across N. America in a CPG setting, with Customer Management experience
  • Multi-channel CPG experience including: C-store, Mass, Grocery, Dollar, e-Comm & EU Discounters
  • Experience of Brand / Trade / Customer Marketing, supporting delivery of effective JBP’s
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or similar
  • Experience of Trade Promotional Management
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to outline and reinforce the Trade Mktg. & DSMP strategy
  • Ability to manage a range of projects with differing priorities, delivery dates and scopes while appropriately keeping the correct cross-functional decision makers up-to-date
  • Strong decision making and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at the most Senior levels
  • Commercially astute with strong business sense and excellent problem solving / analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
  • Global mindset and a desire to build a successful career with a growing global company

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $162,000.00annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
