IT Procurement Category Manager (One-year Fixed-Term Contract)
For our Ferrero HQ based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an IT Procurement Category Manager to join our Procurement function for a duration of one year.
In this role, you will help define category strategies in line with Group objectives. You will manage procurement activities for your category, working to reduce risks through established Vendor Risk Management.
Additionally, you will contribute to innovation initiatives and leverage supplier expertise to create value and strengthen partnerships.
By covering this position, you will contribute to defining category strategies aligned with Group objectives and business priorities. You will work closely with regional procurement teams to implement strategies, harmonize processes, and maintain compliance with internal methodologies.
Moreover, you will manage supplier relationships, ensuring continuity and alignment with agreed objectives while leveraging Supplier Relationship Management tools to strengthen partnerships. Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs and benchmarks will be part of your role, as well as conducting spend analysis and market evaluations to identify suppliers that meet Group standards for capability and innovation.
You will oversee procurement activities for your category, including tenders, contract management, and strategic negotiations in collaboration with the Category Leader. Supporting risk management, supplier registration, and knowledge systems will also be key, ensuring availability and performance while optimizing value for the organization.
You will bring your educational background in Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields with around 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Procurement, in a multinational organization and expertise in Indirect Category Management.
Thanks to your strong communication and negotiation abilities, you will interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels and external partners, balancing their needs effectively. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will support strategic thinking and decision-making, while your commitment to excellence and ethical standards will guide your actions.
Also, you will manage conflicts constructively and adapt to uncertainty with a results-oriented approach.
Last but not least, you will bring your proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP with your fluency in English.
