As an SSP (Continuous Improvement) Specialist, you will support the Plant’s journey towards industrial excellence by analysing processes, identifying optimisation opportunities, and enabling sustainable performance improvements. Working closely with the SSP Manager, UGPs, and cross-functional teams, you will help embed Ferrero Operational eXcellence (FOX), Continuous Improvement (C.I.), and Digitalisation initiatives across the Plant.

This role plays a key part in promoting a structured, data-driven approach to improvement, supporting project delivery, monitoring results, and ensuring initiatives are effectively implemented and sustained. You will act as a change agent within the Plant, encouraging engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement at all levels.

As SSP (Continuous Improvement) Specialist, you will support the deployment and consistency of the Ferrero Operational eXcellence (FOX) programme and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the Plant. You will act as a change agent, promoting a structured and data-driven approach to improvement, encouraging engagement, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organisation.

You will analyse plant processes and operational data to identify optimisation opportunities and support performance improvement initiatives. This includes developing insights from data, monitoring progress, and ensuring that improvement actions are followed up effectively and that results are sustainable over time. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support problem-solving activities, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement tools to identify root causes and support the implementation of effective solutions.

You will support the organisation and delivery of FOX and Continuous Improvement training initiatives, contributing to effective communication, training coordination, and the development of internal capability. Through a train-the-trainer approach, you will support facilitators and help embed Continuous Improvement methodologies across the Plant, ensuring accountability and consistency in application.

As part of the local Continuous Improvement process (MiCo), you will support the collection, evaluation, and prioritisation of improvement ideas raised by Plant teams. This includes assisting with the analysis of proposed solutions, evaluating costs and benefits, and supporting the structured implementation of selected initiatives. You will also support the monitoring of project activities, identifying risks or deviations from plan and contributing to recovery actions where required.

In addition, you will support the rollout of Smart Factory and digitalisation initiatives at Plant level. Working alongside the SSP Manager and relevant stakeholders, you will contribute to the definition, deployment, and maintenance of digital tools and systems, ensuring they remain up to date and aligned with Plant and Group objectives.

You will collaborate closely with UGPs and key Plant functions, including Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to ensure effective integration of SSP activities. You will promote clear communication and information cascading related to Continuous Improvement and digital initiatives, and support the maintenance of training matrices and facilitator registers to ensure ongoing capability development across the Plant.

You are a results-driven professional with proven experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies, bringing strong knowledge of process optimisation and a passion for driving operational excellence. Your ability to engage colleagues fosters a collaborative environment, empowering teams to embrace change and adopt best practices.

You combine Project Management expertise—ideally with PMO experience or certification—with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in planning, execution, and reporting. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills enable you to influence and align cross-functional teams effectively.

A Lean Six Sigma qualification is highly desirable, equipping you with structured methodologies for process optimisation. Additionally, your analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis allow you to extract insights, track performance, and make informed decisions that deliver measurable impact.
