Channel Controlling Manager

This position exists to provide comprehensive financial controlling and business partnership for the National Snack and National Key Account (NKA) sales channels. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate monthly closing, explaining deviations from Budget/Forecast, and supporting the sales organization in assessing and optimizing all commercial levers (including S&OP, volume, pricing, Gross to Net, A&P, and OVH). A key objective is to act as a finance business partner, providing financial guidance to drive sustainable growth and profitability for these channels, while ensuring compliance with group procedures for financial data reporting.

PLANNING & FORECAST
•    Lead budget, SAF and LE process for the National Snack and NKA, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and group timelines.
•    Track actual business performance, conduct gap analysis vs. plans, provide clear explanations and drive action plan.
•    Support Sales and Trade-marketing in building OP by platforms and key customers. 
•    Act as a finance business partner to the National Snack and NKA teams, providing financial counsel to support business growth and strategic initiatives. 
•    Participate in the development and implementation of the National Snack and NKA team go-to-market and sales strategy and provide financial counsel to drive the business.

CONTROLLING & REPORTING
•    Manage monthly Trade Spending process, including value chain maintenance, scorecard forecasting and actual tracking, and post-evaluation analysis.
•    Ensures accurate monthly and year-end closings activities, performing variance analysis on products, margins, advertising investments, etc.
•    Maintain financial systems, ensures smooth processes, handle P&L and Performance Report generation, and liaise with central and local cross-functional teams.
•    Partner with National Snack and NKA sales team to optimize product portfolios, pricing strategies, and maximize channel marginality.Track and analyze the ROI of National Snack and NKA Campaigns and Promotional Activities to improve investment efficiency and profitability.
•    Ensure compliance with company processes and controlling guidelines.
•    Support new channel development and profitability analysis
•    Assist Finance team with ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
•    Coordinate with other team members to achieve synergies by providing shared templates and sharing updated information
•    Actively participating in meetings with  stakeholders to contribute to business discussions and decision-making.
•    Continuously optimize existing templates and ways of working, sharing best practices within the team
•    Communicate key financial messages and insights effectively to other functions
•    Collaborate with area controllers on group projects and updates. 

•    Bachelor+ degree in Finance
•    5+ years finance experience, including 3 years channel experience in offline GT/MT. Big 4 background is preferred.
•    Strong analytical skills and process driven know-how
•    Good communication and collaboration skills, with flexibility to adjust to the fast-changing working demands
•    Ability to drive results individually and within the team 
•    Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese
