Ensure that the financial information reported to the Group is reliable and timely, as well as aligned with the Group’s requirements and international regulations for Agrichile and Agriargentina.
Design, implement, and monitor internal controls in accordance with the Group’s policies regarding the financial and accounting aspects of the company’s operations, to safeguard and preserve assets and prevent improper disbursements. Manage and coordinate external (PwC) and internal (Ferrero Group) financial audits to ensure that the information provided is accurate and timely, as well as to design corrective measures for any deviations identified.
Evaluate financial KPIs from the Balance Sheet (financial ratios and internal indicators) to identify areas of opportunity and detect potential risks or deviations that may impact the companies. Coordinate with the team to ensure proper recording, reporting, and control over sales, accounts receivable, and the company’s asset lifecycle (PPE and Biological assets). 

  • Supervise and issue financial reports for each reporting period, ensuring compliance with both local and corporate deadlines for Agrichile and Agriargentina.
  • Coordinate and monitor month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate execution of Finance reporting tasks.
  • Coordinate the external audit of financial statements together with the Administration Manager, providing required information, resolving inquiries, and validating controls and processes to achieve clean audit opinions.
  • Support the coordination of internal audits and provide information to auditors to resolve outstanding matters.
  • Supervise and guide the financial reporting team in the execution of departmental activities (Sales, Account Receivables, Fixed assets, bioassets and financial statements reporting).

Educational background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional experience:

  • Solid knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS standards.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and tools.
  • Valid Class B driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Basic or intermediate level of English proficiency.
  • Industry knowledge, preferably within the relevant sector.
  • Experience as an Accounting Analyst in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Background in internal or external auditing, preferably within agricultural and/or industrial companies.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting to corporate headquarters or parent companies

IT skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP (including HFM)

Languages:

  • English B1 equivalent
