We are happy to share that we are currently looking for a General Ledger Account to join our Finance team for a parental leave substitution.

In this role, you will support general ledger activities within a structured and dynamic environment, contributing to the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of accounting data. You will work closely with Finance colleagues and interact with different stakeholders across the organization, supporting month end and year end closing processes in line with internal standards and statutory requirements.

In this position, you will support the accuracy and completeness of general ledger activities by preparing and posting journal entries required for month end and year end closing procedures. You will perform balance sheet reconciliations, analyze variances and investigate discrepancies, ensuring that accounting records are accurate, complete and properly documented.

You will support periodic VAT reporting activities required by the authorities, such as LIPE, and you will manage VAT related processes. This will include VAT reconciliations, the preparation and review of VAT registers, and the maintenance of documentation required for VAT refund procedures.

You will contribute to internal and external audit activities by providing the necessary documentation, explanations and analytical support throughout the audit cycle. In addition, you will carry out day to day accounting activities based on business needs in close collaboration with colleagues and a proactive approach in supporting the Finance organization.

You hold a Master’s Degree in Business Management, Economics or a related field, and you bring previous experience in administrative or general ledger accounting activities. You are comfortable working with accounting systems and tools and have good proficiency in SAP, Excel and PowerPoint.

You approach your work with a strong attention to detail, solid time management skills and the ability to handle priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment. You are fluent in English and feel comfortable operating in an international context.
