As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating product distribution and flow in the UAE, Kuwait, and Lower Gulf Indirect (LGi) markets. You will oversee the day-to-day cluster operations, to guarantee service levels to Ferrero customers across channels, ensuring product quality and freshness, while maintaining budget-controlled supply chain costs. The role is responsible for the optimal management of stock, reaching stock target level for each product, prevents stock shortage and is the cluster lead for the S&OP cycle.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

Design, develop, and implement country distribution objectives, new flows and strategy in accordance with overall regional strategy and Sales, Trade Marketing, and Field requirements. Develop improvements in logistics and distribution systems to ensure maximum economy and efficiency for the company while maintaining the required level of customer service. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices. Develop the supply chain’s customer centricity roadmap

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Coordinate, monitor performance and step-in to resolve day-to-day operational matters, including customer timely deliveries, 3PL operations, volume planning, and stock visibility. Maintain proximity to the country manager for all supply chain related matters within the country perimeter.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT

Ensure proper management of the assigned cost budget (people, resources, depots, transportation) in line with business objectives. Propose logistics cost budgets and monitor expenses to improve country profitability. Develop and implement the annual logistics operating budget for the country, ensuring operations remain within established guidelines.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

Recruit, manage, motivate, coach, and develop your team to ensure high performance. Effectively plan and define activities for assigned team members. Guarantee professional development by evaluating team members and proposing training and development initiatives. Direct and maintain activities that promote and sustain a high level of employee engagement.

The ideal candidate is required to have 10+ years’ experience in the Supply Chain department with management skills. A proactive and strategic planner with leadership and excellent communication skills. Proven abilities to exceeding business targets consistently across assignments with significant contribution to revenue growth. Proven record of product launch and new market development. Strong organizational skills with flexibility. FMCG experience in the GCC is a required. Arabic-speaking is a plus. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience.
